Women’s Mental Health is deeply connected to both physical health and life experiences. Women often face unique emotional and psychological challenges tied to hormonal shifts, pregnancy, postpartum changes, menopause, and societal pressures. Anxiety, depression, and trauma-related conditions are common, but they’re not always recognized or treated in time. Whether it’s juggling caregiving roles or lacking access to proper care, many women go without the mental health support they need and deserve.
At the Women’s Health World Conference (WHWC), mental health is treated as a core part of women’s overall wellness. This Conference highlights how mental health services can be better tailored to women’s life stages and circumstances. The goal is to improve understanding and build mental health support into all areas of women’s healthcare, creating systems that listen, respond, and truly care.
